About Me
I began my first musical studies at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, completing the clarinet course in 1988 at the age of 16. I think that was the period in my life where music slowly became linked, with the chains of sounds, to my DNA...
After many years, I happened to read on a wall, “Music is like an ever-flowing river where notes can be fished out endlessly.” There I realized that on our planet and perhaps beyond, this muse has acted and will always act in an important way.
Live & Studio
Studying a score identifies the best conducting gestures and then performs it live. All of this is done in order to consciously transmit countless pieces of information to the orchestra. Excellent transmission will ensure compliance with the composer's wishes. Every gesture made by the conductor causes a reaction in the musicians of the orchestra, and highly appreciated will be that conductor who understands well this simple but at the same time arduous task.
In brief, I believe that Music consists of Scales, Jumps and Arpeggios. It is amazing how these meager elements, when well combined, can cross the laws of speech to get to where each of us is.
